Tranquility Lounge: Mind & Body Therapies
At Tranquility Lounge, all services are delivered within a structured, ethical, and evidence-informed framework.
Sessions integrate established psychological and therapeutic approaches, including:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) informed techniques
Hypnotherapy
Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) informed interventions
Tapping (EFT-informed techniques)
Psychoeducation grounded in psychological research
Mind–body regulation strategies
Practice is guided by ethical principles aligned with the British Psychological Society, including respect for autonomy, professional competence, confidentiality, and client wellbeing.
Services provided at Tranquility Lounge are:
Complementary and non-clinical

Focused on emotional regulation, behavioural patterns, and wellbeing

Stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm
Habit patterns and behavioural change

General psychological wellbeing
These services are intended as supportive and preventative and do not replace medical or psychological treatment.
Tranquility Lounge operates using the Psychological Tuning framework, a structured, research-informed, non-clinical approach to psychological wellbeing.
This framework integrates evidence-based techniques, including ACT-informed strategies, hypnotherapy, IEMT-informed interventions, psychoeducation, and mind–body regulation practices.
Psychological Tuning is designed to support:
Emotional regulation
Increased self-awareness
Behavioural and cognitive flexibility
Overall psychological wellbeing
It is positioned as early-stage, non-clinical support and does not constitute psychotherapy, counselling, or medical treatment.
Tranquility Lounge may also provide nutrition-informed wellbeing support and personalised dietary guidance.
This service may include:
General nutrition education
Meal structure and balanced eating guidance
Support with healthier food choices
Behaviour change around eating patterns
Mindful eating and emotional eating support
Personalised dietary plans within a wellbeing framework
Nutrition support is delivered as non-clinical wellbeing guidance.
It does not include:
Diagnosis or treatment of medical conditions
Medical nutrition therapy or dietetics
Management of eating disorders
Advice to stop or alter prescribed medication
Clients with medical conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions, cardiovascular disease, kidney or liver conditions, pregnancy, or eating disorders, should seek advice from a GP or registered dietitian before making dietary changes.
Clients remain under the care of their GP or relevant healthcare provider for any medical or mental health conditions.
The following are outside the scope of services:
Diagnosis of mental health conditions
Clinical psychotherapy or counselling
Medical advice or treatment
Crisis intervention or emergency mental health care
Where appropriate, clients will be advised to seek support from:
GP services
NHS mental health services
Licensed and regulated professionals
The practitioner does not operate as a registered clinical or medical professional.
Clients are responsible for informing the practitioner of any relevant medical or psychological conditions.
Where appropriate, clients may be advised to consult their GP or other qualified healthcare professional prior to commencing or continuing sessions.
In certain circumstances, the practitioner may request confirmation from a GP or relevant professional that it is appropriate for sessions to proceed.
The practitioner reserves the right to pause or decline services where it is considered that additional medical, psychological, or specialist support is required.
Hypnotherapy is a guided process involving focused attention and deep relaxation.
You remain aware and in control at all times
You cannot be made to do anything against your will
It is a collaborative process based on your engagement
Responses to hypnotherapy vary between individuals and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Hypnotherapy may not be suitable for individuals with certain conditions, including:
Psychosis or severe mental health conditions
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
Severe depression with suicidal ideation
Dissociative disorders
Any memories or imagery experienced during sessions are subjective and may not represent factual events.
Any recordings or materials provided are for personal use only and do not replace professional or medical advice.
Some sessions may combine hypnotherapy with eye movement-based techniques (IEMT-informed).
These approaches are used to support emotional regulation and emotional processing within a non-clinical framework and are not a substitute for trauma-focused psychotherapy.
Services may not be appropriate for individuals experiencing:
Active suicidal ideation
Severe or complex mental health conditions
Severe trauma requiring specialist clinical intervention
Clients are responsible for informing the practitioner of any relevant medical or psychological conditions.
After sessions, some individuals may feel relaxed, tired, or emotionally affected. Clients should ensure they are in a suitable state before driving or engaging in demanding activities.
Clients must not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Services at Tranquility Lounge are available to clients aged 16 and over.
For clients aged 16–17:
Capacity to consent will be assessed in line with Gillick competence principles
Parental or guardian consent may be required before sessions begin
A parent or guardian may need to be contactable where appropriate
Additional safeguards may apply
The practitioner reserves the right to decline or postpone sessions where appropriate consent or safeguarding conditions are not met.
Where clients are under 18, additional safeguarding responsibilities apply.
Confidentiality may be limited where there are concerns regarding:
Risk of harm to the client
Risk of harm to others
Abuse or neglect
In such cases, appropriate action may be taken, including:
Contacting a parent or guardian
Signposting or referring to relevant services
Contacting appropriate authorities if required
All safeguarding decisions are made in line with professional duty of care.
All client information is treated as confidential.
Confidentiality may be broken only where necessary:
If there is risk of harm to yourself or others
Where safeguarding concerns arise
Where required by law
Only relevant and necessary information will be shared on a ‘need to know’ basis in situations where disclosure is required
Due to confidentiality and data protection, information regarding another individual’s sessions will not be discussed without their explicit written consent
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and overseen by the Information Commissioner's Office.
Personal data is processed on the lawful basis of client consent and, where applicable, legitimate interest for service administration.
Data collected may include:
Personal contact details
Health-related information shared during sessions
Nutrition, lifestyle, and wellbeing information
Session notes
Your data is:
Stored securely
Used only for service delivery and administration
Not shared with third parties without consent unless legally required
Client records are retained for a period of up to 6 years after the final session, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.
For clients aged 16–17:
Data may be processed based on the client’s capacity to consent
Parental or guardian consent may also be required where appropriate
You have the right to:
Access your data
Request correction
Request deletion where applicable
Withdraw consent
Requests for data deletion will be considered in line with legal, safeguarding, and insurance obligations
Anonymised cases may be discussed in a professional context for academic or research purposes, the purpose of supervision, training, or maintaining high standards of practice. No identifying personal information will be disclosed.
To request access to personal data or session records, a written request must be made. Information will be provided within 30 days of receipt of the request, in accordance with UK GDPR.
Enquiries
Personal data collected during initial enquiries (such as name, email address, and telephone number) will be retained for a period of up to 3 months after the last contact. If no services are taken up, this data will be securely deleted.
Use of Information and Non-Legal Status:
Any information, session content, written communication, or materials provided by Tranquility Lounge are intended for personal wellbeing purposes only.
They are not prepared for legal use and should not be relied upon:
as formal evidence
for legal proceedings
as expert opinion or testimony
The practitioner does not act as an expert witness and does not provide medico-legal reports.
Clients are responsible for:
Their own decisions, actions, and wellbeing
Engaging with the process voluntarily
Informing the practitioner of relevant health information
Seeking appropriate medical or psychological care when needed
For general enquiries between sessions, clients may make contact via WhatsApp or email. Responses are not immediate and do not replace professional or emergency support.
Appointments must be booked in advance.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.
All services provided by Tranquility Lounge are delivered as complementary, non-clinical therapeutic support.
They do not constitute medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment
No diagnosis of mental health conditions is provided
Outcomes cannot be guaranteed
Nutrition support is provided for general wellbeing and behaviour change and is not medical dietetics or treatment for any diagnosed condition.
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and actions following sessions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tranquility Lounge accepts no liability for decisions or actions taken by clients following sessions.
These services are intended to support wellbeing and should be used alongside, not instead of, appropriate healthcare where required.
Tranquility Lounge does not provide crisis support.
